It’s confusing!
Most people have been dealing with less-than-ideal health for quite a large portion of their life. Mainstream ideas about health, wellness and weight maintenance do not work; if they did, most people would not be sufffering so much. My program is not a quick fix or an event-oriented health plan, unless a long and healthy life at your ideal weight is the event you want to look good for. The feel good program is doable. You do not need super-human willpower. You do not need to go hungry. You do not have to hit the gym every day for the rest of your life. Many people choose to eat too little and work out very intensely. This creates deficiencies and unnecessary stress to the immune system, slowing the metabolism and releasing stress hormones that contribute to more fat on the body. It also creates cravings and hunger that many people cannot help but give in to. These cravings are a major signal that the body is out of balance. My advice is to fuel the body with the correct types of food, build some muscle and reduce stress. This is what fires up the metabolism—and metabolism is the key to maintaining a healthy weight. What you think you should be doing for optimal health may be way off-base. This is probably why you are not meeting your health and weight goals. Maybe you feel that you eat really well, but your body is telling you otherwise. Or maybe you already know that you don’t eat really well and think you know what changes to make. You’ll be surprised. The feel good program will debunk myths about healthy eating so ingrained that the program may at first seem counterintuitive.
